Do you really want to be you today? How about you trade shoes with the person who doesn’t have a shelter over their heads… Are you sure you don’t want to be you? The one who can comprehend, plan and take action that can feed a neighborhood…. Are you positive that you don’t want to be you today? Family members before you have stood strong with the same first name of last name; there is strength and meaning behind your name and who you are called today.
If you are sure you don’t want to be you today… then I guess maybe you aren’t ready to be you or maybe, “the you that you see” scares you. Be proud and grateful for who you are. In the midst of mistakes and falls, you are still blessed beyond comprehension. There is freedom within being who you are; there is peace within who you are. It’s not stressful to be you, but it is a stressful attempt trying to be someone else. Be you today and be empowered by the Love of God, who also declared you a precious soul and a gift unwrapped for the world to see and know.
I can’t be you, and neither can the person next to you, but you can help those around simply by being you and displaying what is on the inside.
