Buzzzzz…snooze. I’m getting up. I need to get it going….I sure hope my son and daughter are up and ready to go. I sure do get tired of having to push them along in the morning to get ready and get off to school.
Hold up, wait a minute! As much as we may want our children to be better than we are or where, the coined phrase is… “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.” if we want them to be motivated and to take charge, then we should be that example. It’s interesting how much children pattern after their parents and even more how we as adults can see how were probably were as children by looking at our own.
Remember this: They hear our words. But they remember our actions. If you have lost your drive, then find it for the sake of the little ones and of course those near you.
