Are you to close to see it? I wonder sometimes if we are as aware of our surroundings as we think we are. It’s ok if we are not, but it’s something to think about.
You woke up, got dressed and headed out the door, only to have someone else tell you that your shirt is on backwards or your pants are inside out. You put them on, but yet didn’t even realize that something was wrong. Maybe you were too close to see it. Maybe you put on two different colored socks, or sprinkled coffee creamer on your cereal instead of sugar.
I believe this is the reason why fellowship with others is important, because sometimes within their “best interest for us” they can see things we don’t. It doesn’t mean that we are complete idiots in regards to our own well-being. It just means that maybe we won’t always see it right away, it will take having to step back a foot or two.
Know this… we will continue to grow into a heightened sense of awareness each day that we proactively seek awareness and understanding. So water the seed today and continue to grow. Peace
