I’ve been there and at times find myself revisiting. Moments in times that I see something I believe in and I reach out for it, but it seems as though there isn’t enough reach in my arm to grasp the intangible objective. It’s there. I see it…not with physical eyes. I see it through the windows of my soul. Is there, presented within the various winds of life. My stride is there, but not in sync with the clocks of perpetual movement that advances forward.
Was I not created as an extension of mighty being? Was I not formed with components of greatness? Am I not ready to make decisions that expose promising outcomes? Am I not sincere, when I pray for the answers to remedy broken visions, empty hope, cultures that suffer from dis-jointed unity.
Can it simply be that we are these things and more? We are extensions of greatness; components of a mighty being; ready to experience promising outcomes with each decision; sincere; concerned; growing ever more sympathetic to those we don’t even know.
We are not just simple walkers on a bridge. We are in face beings that bridge gaps. The gaps between friends and friendships, over achievers and those struggling to achieve, the pacifist and the irate.
We are the in between, responsible to assist in helping to balance the lives of others. Once this balance has gone 360, then it helps to balance our own lives.
Why do I believe we are the in between, because right now at this very moment, the words Alpha Omega have come to life. The words have been used throughout history has a reference to God, and mean beginning and the ending, first and last.
If Alpha and Omega metaphorically are like the book ends on the book shelf, hold the books in between upright, then we are metaphorically like the books in between. Each having individual identity and purpose but yet responsible to stand on the bridge, hold hands and fill in the gaps when needed in order to keep the connection among one another always connected…. that is, if this makes sense.
You are not simply dead weight walking, you are apart of the greatest puzzle in life, find your place and help put the bigger picture together. Peace
