Hunter Chronicles D453

4250650_sThe fire alarm goes off. The first thing we are looking for is some sort of identifier. We tend to look for smoke or flames and if we see this, then we know what the alert is for. What do we look for, if we don’t see the identifier? We dismiss the alarm as a false alarm.

In our various walks, there are alarms that go off all the time. We know there is an issue, but we have no identifier to relate the source of the problem to, so we dismiss it. You smack yourself in the head and tell yourself… how could I be so stupid? How could I have missed this?

Maybe you didn’t miss it. Maybe you didn’t know what to do. As we discover these alarms, we prepare ourselves to better handle the next one. The alarms will continually come. As long as we can see the sun rise, and the seasons shift, they will surely be there.

You will never always be able to pre-identify the alarms that are present or on the rise.  You are not stupid because you didn’t understand the alarm. Once you do identify the alarm, move swiftly, before fire can consume the precious things in your life.
