How quickly we forget even the child-like stories such as “The little Engine that Could – I think I can, I think I can, which was a compelling notion to excel” or this phrase “Happiness is like those palaces in fairy tales whose gates are guarded by dragons: we must fight in order to conquer it… by Alexandre Dumas”. We learn this young, and then somewhere along the timeline of life, we disregard the principles of progressive thinking. The purity of the notion becomes diluted with negative and hope-less thoughts.
My son was playing a video game the other day, and he failed to beat this level, to my surprise, I heard him say… “I can do and I will, I will beat this Level, all I have to do is believe in myself.” I smiled because indirectly, it told me that he is heading down the right path and all that is needed is continued reinforcement.
I hope this charges you for the day and we become human batteries that store energy to be used to power positive outcomes in our lives. Peace
