How do I start the day in which I need to win? I start with a prayer of forgiveness and a prayer for clarity. I begin thinking of the win. I speak it… I will be a better listener today, I will be a better worker today, I will be a better father, I will hold on as if my life depends on it, because it does. I will not hold back my tears, if I need to cry. I will not run away, unless there are snares ahead. I will win even if there are thousands of adversaries. I will excel beyond, even if there is no one next to me. I will let gossip be just that…void words surrounded by dark clouds of waterless rain.
I will thank God, because I have no reason not too. I will appreciate the mysteries of life today, because I have life. I will share a good word with someone else today and end the silence. We rise and fall and rise again if we seek to win.
