Other than the voice of God, there aren’t many things that would be stronger than a corporate decision, or a decision of unison. When people stand like-minded, things change. At what point have we all stood as one and prayed for the very world we live in. that the very earth we walk on will continue to produce the resources we need to live our privileged lives.
Imagine if we could walk down the street and see every head lifted and every soul shining with a bright gleam of hope, poverty would be stricken, homelessness stricken, hunger stricken. We have national holidays were banks close down, schools close, retailers post special sales. Some of these aren’t to honor someone specifically; it’s called jumping on the bandwagon, because everyone else is doing it.
I have never seen a bank close down for a day in order to join in prayer with other banks, or a shopping center close down for a day because they are going to serve the needy with another shopping center.
These things are not said out of anger or frustration, they are said out of care for humanity, and it’s dwelling places that continue to decline in strength, and yet for many these thoughts will be read and diminish after the page is closed. I declare right now that these words will not be void for the days to come. I pray for peace, blessing and good will for every body and soul on this earth. Bloodshed is a compelling factor, if you know what I mean.
